Preserve Historical Narratives
Document the experiences and lessons of those who served — before they're lost.
The National Security Stories Initiative is an educational and charitable program dedicated to preserving and sharing authentic stories from the intelligence, national security, law enforcement, and military communities — through professionally produced graphic novels.

The initiative seeks to document important experiences, increase public understanding of public-service professions, and generate support for organizations serving those who have dedicated their lives to protecting democratic societies.
It will launch through a series of professionally produced graphic novels created in partnership with Real Spy Comics — the independent creative and publishing partner — with educational and charitable stewardship provided by OTX International.
Through corporate sponsorships, educational outreach, book distribution programs, and community engagement, the initiative will preserve important stories while creating meaningful support for service-focused nonprofit organizations.

As individuals retire, age, or pass away, important lessons and experiences are often lost. Meanwhile, younger generations increasingly consume information through visual and digital media rather than traditional historical publications.
The initiative is designed to communicate lessons in leadership, ethics, and public service through engaging, accessible storytelling formats that reach audiences beyond traditional military or historical communities.

OTX does not serve as the publisher of the graphic novels.
Real Spy Comics serves as the independent creative and publishing partner — handling research, script, illustration, production, and distribution while retaining ownership of all intellectual property and creative works.
Real Spy Comics may voluntarily contribute a portion of proceeds from designated publications to support the initiative and its charitable objectives.
Inaugural · MACV-SOGThe inaugural project will adapt the story featured in the program’s promotional sizzle into a professionally produced graphic novel — both an educational resource and a proof-of-concept for the storytelling initiatives that follow.
As people retire and pass away, important lessons about leadership, resilience, ethics, and civic responsibility are lost — and the organizations serving these communities struggle to reach new audiences and attract long-term support.
People connect with personal narratives before they connect with agencies or histories. Authentic stories create understanding and empathy at a scale that institutional descriptions never reach.
A sustainable storytelling platform serving service communities — a growing body of educational content, and continued charitable support for the organizations that look after those who served.
Organizations may support the initiative through sponsorships designed to advance educational and charitable outcomes — recognized through sponsor acknowledgement pages, logo placement, event recognition, supporter listings, and educational distribution partnerships.
Sponsor recognition remains consistent with applicable nonprofit and charitable guidelines. The initiative does not endorse sponsor products or services.
OTX may direct charitable funds generated through the initiative toward organizations serving the communities represented in the publications. All distributions remain subject to OTX board oversight and discretion — no external organization is guaranteed funding or beneficiary status.

Should the model prove successful, opportunities may emerge to expand into complementary educational formats. These are considered future possibilities — not current requirements. The immediate objective remains straightforward: compelling graphic novels that preserve important stories, educate new audiences, and support the communities from which those stories emerge.
Sponsorship and partnership inquiries are welcome from organizations and individuals who share a commitment to preserving important stories, supporting service communities, and strengthening civic education.
